Dry Beans. Beans are a natural product. Despite use of modern cleaning equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign material. We recommend to sort and rinse beans before cooking. General guidelines to cook beans: Rinse & Sort Beans. Soak Overnight. Rinse Twice. Cook Until Done. 1 Cup dry beans equals approximately 2 -1/2 cups cooked.

Ingredients: Pinto Beans, Kidney Beans, Baby Lima Beans, Great Northern Beans, Black Turtle Beans, Cranberry Beans, Blackeye Peas.

Recipe: 2 Cups Dry Beans,  2 Stalks Celery, 1-3 TSP. Chili Powder, 1 Oinion, Chopped, 1 TSP. Lemon Juice ,  1/2 Green Pepper Diced, 2 Cups Diced Tomatoes,  Salt to Taste, 1 Clove Garlic,  Pepper . Ham or Ham Hocks,  Tabasco Sauce. Wash Beans; Cover with Water; Bring to Boil.Drain, Add Fresh Water to Cover; Soak for 1 Hour.Add Ham. Simmer for 1 Hour. Slice Celery, Dice Pepper and Mince Garlic.Add to Kettle with Other Ingredients and Simmer 1-2 Hours.
